The Winter Springs Foundation is a community-led nonprofit created to support officers and staff members of the Winter Springs Police Department. Your sponsorship helps fund recognition, hardship assistance, training, and equipment for the Winter Springs Police Department officers and staff members. This is not about replacing taxpayer-funded responsibilities. This is about giving the community a way to step up when support is needed most. When help is needed, we should be ready.
Innovative Training and Equipment
Fighting crime is becoming increasingly difficult in today’s world. Our police force must continually invest in advanced equipment and technology to address evolving threats and challenges. The Winter Springs Police Foundation uses donations to help law enforcement acquire innovative tools, resources, and training that enhance public safety and help protect our families, neighborhoods, and community.
Emergency Support
The Winter Springs Police Foundation provides financial assistance when a tragedy such as death or permanent disability occurs. The foundation also provides support when a life-changing disease or medical condition threatens the financial stability and future of an officer and his or her family. Example expenses that the foundation covers are mortgages, general living expenses, tuition expenses for surviving children and burial expenses.
